Omid has founded and built Newsec Infra since 2007. He holds a unique track record within Nordic wind with 50+ closed deals at a value north of EUR 4 bn. Prior to Newsec Infra, Omid worked as a corporate strategy consultant and also founded elskling.se, the leading Nordic online electricity marketplace for consumers and SMEs. Omid holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Stockholm University / Stockholm School of Economics.
Vassilis Galiotos

Vassilis Galiotos

Vassilis has 12 years of M&A, project finance and broader corporate finance experience. He previously worked at Skanska Infrastructure Development focusing on large infrastructure transactions within transportation, social infrastructure and energy, on the Swedish and international markets. He holds a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Uppsala University and B.Sc. in Statistics and Insurance Science from University of Piraeus.
Daniel Wahlström

Daniel Wahlström

Daniel has over the last two years built niche expertise in the Nordic power market and renewables through numerous transactions and his M.Sc. thesis for Newsec Infra. He holds a M.Sc. Industrial Engineering and Management International from Linköping University, with focus in financial engineering, mandarin and computer science. He spent a year at National Tsing Hua University studying finance and statistics. Daniel also speaks fluent Spanish.

Kristoffer Hegmar

Associate

Kristoffer started his career in investment banking at DC Advisory in London. He also spent a summer at BlackRock focusing on real asset investments and worked in private equity at MVI alongside university studies. Since joining Newsec Infra, Kristoffer has advised on a number of ongoing Nordic renewable energy transactions and financings. Kristoffer holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Malin Johansson

Associate

Malin started her career at KPMG Corporate Finance. Since joining Newsec Infra, she has advised on a number of ongoing Nordic renewable energy transactions. Malin holds a M.Sc. in Accounting, Valuation and Financial Management and a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics as well as a CEMS Master in International Management from the Stockholm School of Economics/Ivey Business School. She also dedicated a summer to sustainability studies at Harvard University.
